Recording
Recording is the primary focus of Desert Peak Studios, The studio is stocked with high-end capture gear to offer high-end studio quality without having to pay the high-end studio price. With years of studio experience we’ve been able to compile the required tools to get your project to a level of professionalism only found in some of the best studios in the country. We pride ourselves on great mixes and even mastering for final versions of your project.
Production
Many of our customers rely on us to not only record professionally, but to provide real-time assistance in getting the best outcome for their project. This ranges from vocal improvement techniques, additional instrumentation options, arrangement, duration, and more. Our goal is to give you a professional product you can be proud of. We are certified in Pro Tools and work with other studios in either sharing the workload, importing their work, or exporting our work to meet your studio needs.
Piano
A modern but classic sounding Yamaha hybrid acoustic/electronic Grand. Mic’d with 6 high-quality mics and having the ability to mix samples of classical pianos like the 9′ 6″ Bosendorfer Grand with the sweet acoustic sounds of Yamaha, and variations thereof, depending on the music and the musician.
Percussion
Don’t have a drummer, or just lacking enough percussion equipment? We can work digital and/or acoustic percussion into your projects with a variety of digital drum tools and high-end acoustic percussion. In addition, we can record live drums, then replace with better sounds where desired.
Artists Hub
We have built a large clientele with a myriad of talents. Many of these artists have made themselves available to be hired out to add either vocals or different types of instrumentation as needed to round out your project.
